VP Sales

WaveBL is looking for experienced, hands-on VP Sales with SaaS, High-Tech or Global Trade
experience. Our Sales Leader will execute the company’s strategic plan, identifying and building the
sales pipeline, and managing the sales forecasting to meet / exceed targets. The ideal candidate is a
leader that has demonstrated significant success in building enterprise sales teams within hyper-
growth SaaS scale-up environments. Your role as a sales leader will be to create scalable,
repeatable, and measurable sales processes with the right leading indicators, and to recruit, mentor,
and manage a global team of driven, agile sales and account executives.


WaveBL is a blockchain-based SaaS platform that radically simplifies and fosters trust in trade by
digitizing critical trade documents such as Bills of Lading. Our solution enables instant, encrypted
and authenticated transfer of Bills of Lading and other unique digital documents. WaveBL’s
platform is designed to meet the needs of every member along the supply chain, from the smallest
importer to the largest shipping carriers and bank.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop, and grow WaveBL global sales team
  • Manage account plan development and use proven sales strategies to help Sales Executives
    move deals through the pipeline to close
  • Drive execution of these sales strategies, ensuring processes and metrics are in place to hit
    and exceed growth targets.
  • Partner with senior leadership at Enterprise customers to develop business cases and value
    propositions
  • Maintain product knowledge of all WaveBL offerings
  • Create a sales culture to drive the development of strategic, long-term relationships
  • Build and manage sales processes and forecasting models that are measurable and scalable

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience working as Head /VP of Sales or similar role
  • 5 to 8+ years in Strategic Sales working with C-level stakeholders within enterprises.
  • Proven track records of successful deals closed
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills
  • Solid understanding of the business models and incentive structures
  • Ability to speak in detail with stakeholders about how our technology works and the pain points that our platform solves
  • Experience navigating complex executive stakeholders and decision makers to deploy and expand a SaaS solution
  • Bachelors or Masters degree with concentration in business administration, supply chain, marketing or advertising sales preferred
  • Excellent understanding of market penetration strategies, market development techniques, and market segmentation strategies.
