Backend Team Leader

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of engineers and WaveBLs Development Team

Sustain and improve the architecture of the application(s)

Lead hands-on aspects of the development cycle including code and design reviews.

Coach and mentor, the scrum team on Agile principles, practices, and values

Solve tech—issues or blockers with the team’s technical leaders.

Communicate with Solution Management and Product Management. Participate in cross-functional collaboration within the organization

Promote domain knowledge, system thinking, and product understanding

Requirements:

Excellent social skills

B.Sc. in software engineering/computer science/Information Systems

5+ years of experience as Java Software Engineer

Experience in Software Design, OOP and Microservices development

At least 2 years experience of leading small to medium teams with hands-on responsibility.

Experienced with agile development methodologies

Good understanding of concepts, and hands-on experience in web development

Familiarity with DevOps processes and technologies

High level of English – reading, writing and speaking
